Recent U.S. lottery ticket suppliers IGT Global Solutions and Global slot machine, reported that they will invest $15 million in an expansion project for their ticket press facility in Florida .The expansion project is to create room for a new ultramodern servo-controlled TRESU ticket press that will hopefully increase the company’s pressing capacity by up to 30%, according to the announcement, and will help them with their 13 year supply deal they’ve recently signed with the Florida lottery.

After less than a year of construction, Great Canadian Gaming Corporation has announced that the first new casino for the province of Ontario is set to open tomorrow offering a selection of 450 slots alongside 18 gaming tables and a VIP mixed-games area. The $31 million Shorelines Casino Belleville, which is also set to have a patio area, a small stage for live entertainment, a lounge and an all-glass buffet restaurant complete with outside views, will welcome its first players from 5pm local time on Wednesday following a special ceremony featuring a variety of live acts as well as commemorative giveaways and promotions

Gambling operator Paddy Power Betfair posted a trading update for the three months and the year ended December 31, 2016. The company highlighted revenue increase despite bettor-friendly results and certain “weakness” in its online gaming performance during the fourth quarter of the year. Revenue for the three months ended December 31, 2016 totaled £388 million, up 10% from the same period a year earlier. Sports betting revenue amounted to £299 million, reflecting a 12% increase year-on-year. According to the figures posted, Paddy Power Betfair generated gaming revenue of £89 million during the reported three months.

The State of Florida appealed a court ruling made by a US District Judge last November that allowed the Seminole Tribe to keep blackjack at its casinos until 2030. The appeal filing has come as the latest development in a prolonged legal battle between the Seminoles and the state.The conflict stemmed from a gambling compact tribal and state officials put their signatures on back in 2010. Under the agreement, the Seminoles became the sole providers of blackjack in the state. They were to run blackjack operations until the summer of 2015.

Croatia’s first licensed online poker room was launched last week and, according to initial information, has so far beaten traffic expectations. The website was expected to go live in mid-2016 but owners decided to delay launch for regulatory reasons. Under Croatia’s gambling laws, a license for the operation of online poker is valid from January 1 to December 31. An operator must also pay a licensing fee of around €600,000 in order to be given the nod to operate in the country.

Acccording to Casino News Daily,vietnamese will no longer be forbidden from playing at local casino under a three-year pilot program introduced by the government.  Vietnamese citizens will have to meet certain requirements in order to be allowed to enter local casinos. They will have to be aged 21 or over and to be able to prove that they have monthly income of no less than VND10 million ($443).
