Queensland pushes for another casino

Australia.- The Queensland government revealed that it gave the permission for a second casino to be built on the Gold Coast. The state government will launch a campaign to find an international developer.

Mayor Tom Tate announced late last week that State Development Minister Anthony Lynham wrote to him on behalf of Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk to confirm the support for a second casino that will compete with The Star at Broadbeach. The second casino could be built on private or public land anywhere in Queensland, local media confirmed.
